1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Cora ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cora is a mobile application that helps couples and families choose baby names by swiping, voting, and discovering trending names. The App offers both free and premium features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using Cora, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

• You may sign in using Apple Sign-In or other supported authentication methods.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section. This will permanently remove all your data.

5. Rooms & Shared Content

• You can create or join rooms to vote on names with others.
• Custom names you add to rooms are visible to all room members.
• When you delete your account, your votes and custom names are permanently removed.

6. Subscriptions & Purchases

• Cora offers optional premium features available through in-app subscriptions.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content as custom names.
• Attempt to manipulate voting results or exploit the App.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of Cora are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service:

• Authentication data: Your Apple ID email (may be a relay address if you use Hide My Email) and user identifier.
• App data: Your votes, room memberships, custom names, and usage counters (rewinds, custom names used).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To sync your votes and preferences across devices.
• To enforce free-tier usage limits.
• To generate anonymous trending name statistics.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS, US-West-2 region). All data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected by Row Level Security policies ensuring users can only access their own data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Aggregated, anonymized trending data (name popularity) is visible to all users but cannot be traced to individuals.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database (Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat: Subscription management (Privacy Policy)
• Apple Sign-In: Authentication (Privacy Policy)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (votes, room memberships, custom names, usage records) is permanently and immediately deleted.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the App.
• Delete your account and all data at any time via Profile > Delete Account.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

Cora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS), Row Level Security on all database tables, and secure token-based authentication.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
